Corydon P. Cronk was born in 1887 in Washington, D.C. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1912 with a master's degree in forestry. Mr. Cronk had a varied career in forestry, working both for private concerns and for the government. As a young man, he worked in the woods, gaining much practical experience before moving into numerous administrative positions. After his retirement, he remained active in various trade groups and maintained a life-long interest in the subject of forestry....
